Korea has the highest number of temporary workers among the OECD nations.
According to an analysis of OECD data from 2000 to 2012 by the Bank of Korea, almost 40 percent of the nation's workforce has short-term contracts that last less than a year.
Chile comes next, followed by Mexico and Turkey.
The top 10 percent of full-time workers are paid nearly four and a half times more than the bottom 10 percent.
