Pantech has seen the first batch of its new Vega Popup Note smartphones sell out within 24 hours of release last Thursday.
The company has supplied 30,000 units as the first batch at an affordable price of W325,000 (US$1=W1,114).
The phone proved popular with consumers thanks to its high-end features and low price.
"We have now received another 60,000 orders for the Vega Popup Note," a Pantech staffer said.
The Vega Popup Note is Pantech's first handset since the company entered a workout program in April.
