Kim Kwang-hyun Leaves for U.S. for Possible MLB Deal

Kim Kwang-hyun of the SK Wyverns left for the U.S. on Tuesday to see if he can realize his long-time dream to play in U.S. Major League Baseball.

Kim apparently wants to speed up negotiations with a bidder, reportedly the Sang Diego Padres, after he was given a lower-than-expected offer in mid-November. Many believe he should be able to sign a Major League deal within the week.
