Italian figure skater Carolina Kostner is set to face a lengthy ban due to a doping scandal.
Following an investigation into alleged doping violations involving her ex-boyfriend Alex Schwazer, an Italian prosecutor believes that "Kostner aided Schwazer in avoiding drug testers when they were together."
The figure skater who has already decided not to compete in the upcoming season is likely to be banned for four years and three months.
