Power Naps Can Rejuvenate Busy Workers


A short nap during the day may increase efficiency and concentration levels, even if it interrupts the working day.

You may feel more refreshed and your head clearer after a power nap, especially after lunch, when the body is mostly busy digesting.

The best time for a short nap is between 2 and 4 p.m. -- any later and you may not be able to go to sleep at night.

The ideal duration of a proper power nap is 10 to 15 minutes, and no more than 20 minutes.
